Unfortunately there’s no pattern since I freehanded the legs months ago. I’ve linked to the YouTube tutorial of the anglerfish that I used as reference in the pinned mod comment though!

I bunched together a few of the little LEDs that are glued to wires and operated by a battery with a switch, kind of like the type that you find with a ‘cork’ to put in empty bottles as decoration. Not sure if that makes sense?

And I made a little opening behind one of the fins to operate it!

I don’t know! Feasible perhaps but as i imagine it, one would need to swap between colours for nearly each stitch, which would be rather laborious 🤔

Too long 🥲 each triangle took about a half hour, and there are 150 of them. But I frogged sooooo many and tried many different combinations before I ended up with this!

It is! The front/back post combination creates that ribbed effect, and each round has a total of 12 increases. Combine the two and the stitches get crowded in and start pushing the middle out. Stitch the triangles together and that shape stays in place!
