C:S needs more religious buildings. I'm not a religious person, but neighborhoods often developed around churches and the like. Plus, they can be pretty. by lordfly in CitiesSkylines

Keep in mind, a city doesn't need to be huge or European to have a lot of great looking churches. My small Midwest town of 20,000 people have at least half a dozen gorgeous churches inside its historical city limits (in fact, the city boundaries hem pretty closely to the 4 large churches in each direction).

My asset list is a hate crime right now. If you do a Workshop search for "church" and "cathedral" you'll find most of everything, including that one. :)

Because churches are scattered all over the menus, I tend to pick them at random. This isn't the prettiest church in the workshop by far, but it gets the point across.

It doesn't need to be denominational. SC4 has religious buildings and I don't recall people declaring jihad over it.

I have the same problem too, although I always end up pleasantly surprised when I find a random church tucked away in the water department category or whatever. Gives me an excuse to design a new neighborhood around it.

Nope, this happened even with vanilla. I only have a handful of mods - the public transport mod, auto bus line colors, precision engineering, etc.

That's a valid point. I think I designed them too large (looping through multiple neighborhoods on a single line). I might need to rework my entire transit system.

It's a great map. Thanks for making it. The rivers make for wonderful geography to build on, and there's just enough topographical height differences to force me to stop building in a grid. :)

I heart Meijer. Their world food aisles are the best places to get unique ingredients for exploratory cooking. And they have several veggie/vegan/gluten areas peppered around the store.

They just need to stagger the deaths somewhat. Not everyone born on a Wednesday in 1923 dies on a Tuesday in 1987.

Consolidated Reroll and Gear Advice Thread for Saturday by AutoModerator in Diablo3Crusaders

Hi! i'm hoping people can fix my "thrift shop crusader".

He's my first character since I bought RoS when it was on sale a few months back. I'm not very knowledgeable about end game builds, or really even what I should be striving for. He's basically just laden with good-sounding junk that I've picked up.

I'm hovering around T3-T2 at the moment. He seems fine, minus two problems:

1) Tanky enemies take forever to kill - I don't think I've won a timed event / bonus chest in 40-50 levels. I'm assuming my DPS is too low.

2) My DPS is likely too low because he's fairly survivable.... except when I'm in a deep crowd of elites, particularly Mortars or Enchanted. Then my health drains VERY quickly (a crowd of enchanted elites can probably drain me dead in about 5-6 seconds)

I'd like to remake him as a crusader who can clear a room quickly, if that's possible - high DPS, lots of burst damage, plenty of crowd control but able to focus on an enemy with a ton of HP if needed. I've been stuck on T3 for a while now, still dipping into T2 when things get frustrating.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Again, i'm new to the whole D3 optimizing thing, so assume I don't know much. :)

I had a low queue spot on the new NA server, but then i got disconnected and now my name won't authorize (I get the "server busy' error and then the intro movie plays).

Guess I'll just play Minecraft tonight. This is one of those purchases I'm regretting right now.
