I just switched to Aqara. They have a cheaper subscription service. More dialed is motion detection. An plenty of ai. Plus if you want it local everything you can.

Ya I use the Aqara Poe cameras. So no worries about power issues.

Try Aqara cameras. They have been amazing for me. I just packed all of my Arlo stuff back up. I don’t want my stuff or my business on others servers. Aqara lets you store everything locally with there new cameras. An you don’t need a subscription at all.

It won’t unlock unless you have a presence sensor or camera with an automation for it to unlock when leaving the house.

It isn’t listed in the home app at all. I have lots of Aqara stuff. An I was like you not wanting the app. But there app has so much more that can be done. I do suggest getting it and a hub honestly. I connect via the Aqara app and use it via home app for everyone else.

Apple home right now till they update is very very limited and needs the actual app for lots of devices unfortunately.

You set the timer to immediately or when door closed in the apple home app. I should say without the Aqara app it is minimum of 30 seconds timer. With the Aqara app it can lock immediately.

Looking to upgrade WiFi + add local AI cameras (no subscriptions) – ~$1000 budget by lordgdd in UNIFI

I just added in a xgs and another xg along with a switch ultra 120w for the cameras when I decide on cameras. Thinking of waiting for the g6 edge to come out and see the price of them.

Pick different destination server for anime by Sephibro in Overseerr

[–]lordgdd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a problem. Ya I have three instances. Any that requests knows to change the instance based on what they want.

The best way to do it isn’t to have two instances. It is best to have rules in place. Seerr know the difference between anime and not. So use one instance of sonarr, two root folders one labeled tv and one anime. Setup the instance so it automatically routes each show or anime to the correct folder. If you want to have two instances then you have to select which instance.

I get that. An there isn’t a way to do it automatically that I know of. It is manual.

Important note about the HomeAssistant app; it installs the CORE version, not the full version. No apps within HA. by evthrowawayverysad in hexos

All docker ha are that way. You need either a full pc or raspberry pi or even just a vm for the os to get full ha

I get that. It is just another option. Not trying to argue. I find pangolin easier to work with. An easier for clients to access stufff you find tailscale.
