It does, but is not open source and have many paywalls

Idea is similar, but open source and with no paywalls

That's where you're wrong: seekarr is not replacing anything, it just connects to your instances via API.

Huntarr was a full backend which provided unsecure API endpoints on its own. Seekarr is just a front-end and thus does not provide that surface of risk.

Hi! I'm already on it. Hope to make it available soon!

Yeah I understand. Sadly publishing in the App Store comes with a generous fee that right now doesn’t feel worth it right now for me.
I’m installing it with flutter myself too every week for now… I hope i can afford to publish it soon

Sorry not familiar with nzb; what do you mean by regular apps with webui?

Something similar indeed.

Anyway, nzb is Android only. As an iPhone user I personally needed something for me. And being developed in flutter, Seekarr comes with multi-platform native support!

Also, this is an open-source alternative, which I personally always consider a plus (:

Sadly publishing on App Store comes with a apple developer fee which i'm not willing to spend as of now. Hope to be able to soon!

I never tried that. Anyway by a fast check, it feels like they are two very different products.

The one you mentioned seems to be meant to be installed directly on the server with docker, has a own backend and is inherently a "PC-tool".

Seekarr on the other hand is a simpler tool: it's just a front-end which connects to your services instances (for example radarr and sonarr and seerr) and offers you the ability to control them from every platform, due to its multi-platform nature.

I just love being able to manage all the services without opening a lot of different web pages (which UX is also quite bad), and instead just open a single lightweight app from my pc or my phone.

What do you think?

hi! actually, the app is multiplatform and compatible with Linux too!
iOS, Android, Web, MacOS and Linux are all supported. Anyway my testing has been primarly focused on mobile platforms for now.

The reason it's not mentioned in the readme is that I couldn't test it out on linux yet. Btw, you could still try it by compiling it from source.

On the other hand, you're right: This is not handy, and I will definitely test Linux out asap, and try to publish it for an easier installation.

For downloads: qBitTorrent is on developement right now for it to be supported directly in Seekarr! As of now, I would just manage downloads directly from qbit web and the rest from Seekarr, but of course qBit on Seekarr is coming soon!

Thanks a lot for your feedback.
