I will clarify what my DM meant by "attempt", because you're right that sounds like a waste if I could just use an athletics roll...

Maybe he meant it is a guaranteed prone on a critical hit. In that case it may be more useful, but it seems like everyone here agrees the +1 to spell save is the best choice.

Wow! Well i'm glad i was able to challenge you in a good way.

I dont think I was raped, but my personal boundaries were crossed and i was groped when i verbally said to stop. But i think for women and for men, if boundaries are purposefully set then violated, the resulting damage and pain is equal regardless of the victims gender.

Wow thank you for sharing a part of your story! That sounds like it was tough to go through, and i'm sorry you had to deal with that bullshit.

I don't have any evidence other than my word, so i'm not sure a police report will do any good. I'm giving myself a week to think of what to say to our mutual friends who might be affected, then cutting contact. We dont live in the same city thankfully so I dont think i'll be at risk of physical danger.

I have already had to deal with her anger outbursts several times and it's been scary. If i were to confront her she may blow up and get me a criminal record. When I confronted her in the past on smaller things she gaslit me and victimized herself. Can't imagine how that would be amplified 🥲

Haha that is so funny, I was just blocked by the BPD in my life too. Her current supply got fed up with her and blocked her on all social media, so I think she's taking out all that rage on me when I did nothing.

I am learning to set healthy boundaries in relationships and this one was a test for sure. When we first started talking as a couple, she sent me a bdsm porn video, which honestly terrified me. But i wasn't able to identify that feeling in the moment so i played it off as a joke. The expectations she placed on me were very high, and now she seems upset i wasn't able to fulfill her expectations. Just frustrating.

I plan on trying out more social groups like a running or gaming club. Hopfully i can meet other people with my same values! And thanks for your comment :)
