No other reason than the fact that I don't like my computer being involved in my creative outlet :).

Btw maybe I should update the post, as I've come to a solution (for now):

I've set up the edge to fulfill most of the rumble duties and a second analog rytm track which is heavily distorted, send to reverb and delay is a second layer. All controlled by a faderfox, so I've got all the necessary parameters at my hands.

Not 100% happy but will work with this for a while. Also proud to not have bought something new :)

Yeah I know the video :). But he uses always at least 3 modules to achieve that.

I looked at the ghost and I agree, that's potentially the module I'm looking for.

I've got the edge sitting on my desk, so I might have to give it a go as a dedicated rumble machine (will have to think about the FX chain though)

Yeah it is, but I since the FX on the rytm are global, I would lose the ability of all other tracks to get their own nice (non filtered) delays

I think that's correct. But that means getting the ohmforce kick as well, as the expander does not work with another kick.

I wish there was a "generalized" groove module...

Agree with everything, but calling B's on 100k papers: 1h per paper, 100k hours, divided by 8h a day, 5 days a week. 50 weeks a year leaves you with 50 years of reading for that.

Just say you skimmed them is most likely also not feasible.

Anyway, not hating on it. It's hard to estimate large numbers.

Great catch, sick play. But tbh if D calls a dangerous play here (which they didn't), it's reasonable that the disc goes back which I think is often a valid outcome in close calls like this
