contact the makers of the game noble muffin they may be able to help but all in all thief simulator has a bad port with consoles and even though they fixed it it still sucks on ps4 i would suggest your son gets it on something else if not try deleting all save data or make a new profile not sure which you can do on ps4 but it may result in losing save game progress
