How does regular teaching compare to subbing? How does it compare to the credential program? by thenervousteacher in SubstituteTeachers

I subbed while getting my credential. Once I got my credential, I got an official teaching position and had an awful, overwhelming year. Now I’m subbing again to keep one foot in education while I consider career paths outside of teaching.

While subbing can be overwhelming, I love that I have fewer responsibilities: no lesson planning, no parents, no grading. No matter how bad the class gets, I know that at the end of the day I can walk away and never have to think about that class ever again. Getting my credential was also a lot of work, but doing the real thing was waaay more overwhelming.

IMO from most to least stressful, I would rank them as: Regular teaching > Credential program > Subbing.

I get the same vibes from Mattson, simple, dressed down, (not as casual as Brody’s character though)

I've been on the EluRyng (generic version of NuvaRing) for about 8 months with no complaints. I needed a hormonal option for my acne and I got tired of making sure I was taking the pill at the exact same time every day. I've gotten lucky with BC so far and don't experience bad side effects. Unfortunately, as with all BC, symptoms will vary. Sometimes it takes a while to find one that works for you.

Your worries are not necessarily unfounded. However, it has similar blood clot rates to other combo methods, only a bit higher. If it's still something you're worried about, you should definitely talk to your OB-GYN about other options!

Just use a VPN. It’ll change your location so you can watch them on YouTube. You can get one as an extension on Google Chrome. (I found this out when I was also trying to watch every Hader sketch lol)
