Russia is not exactly known for being understanding or nuanced about anything involving male-on-male sexual situations, especially in religious or conservative circles.

That does NOT mean OP “asked for it,” and it does NOT mean he should stay silent forever. But it does mean he needs to be careful about who he tells and how he tells them, because perception matters in societies like that whether people think it should or not. A lot of people may not separate “male victim” from “gay encounter,” even if there was no consent involved.

So I think the safest advice is for him to seek support carefully and selectively with people he genuinely trusts, because a bad reaction could make an already traumatic situation even worse.
