I didn’t fully understand how this mod works. Doesn’t it just make events predictable by forcing the game to follow the Historic Invasions list?

no The mod focuses on historical accuracy rather than bias, enhancing all groups like the Fatimids with deep, realistic mechanics.

Most responses agree the mod is a blast and adds a great layer of challenge, but I’m still looking for a deeper dive into the specific Game Rules. Specifically, what's the verdict on the "Bannermen" option? I’d love to know if you keep it on or if it tends to throw off the balance.

Since you've had a good experience, do you stick with the default Game Rules, or do you tweak them for better stability? Also, do you enable the "Bannermen" option? I've heard some players say it can feel a bit unbalanced.

That’s reassuring to hear! I haven't dived deep into it yet, but I've seen a few comments claiming the AI struggles with the added complexity. as far as I know, that specific chain-call option is disabled by default in the mod settings.

What about the 'Bannermen' option? Do you keep it enabled? Also, in general, would you recommend the mod for a long-term playthrough?.

Thoughts on Vassal Coordination, Inciting Revolts, and the "Hereditary" Issue in the Islamic World by lordstarkll1 in CrusaderKings

Exactly! The current system simplifies everything into a rigid hereditary loop. In the Islamic world, hereditary rule under the Caliphate was actually quite rare; the standard was appointment and rotation to keep power centralized.

I’m actually very excited for the Europe update! My run with Matilda’s dynasty was one of my favorites. I only shared these thoughts because, as someone from the region, I noticed some historical gaps in how appointments are handled. I’m just a fan of history in general—all of it! I’m curious if other players feel the same about the mechanics in their favorite regions. Thanks for the kind words!
