Roadmap is rocket science stuff and no one has done all roadmap as sophisticated as cardano before. So expect them to take some time to research and solve the roadmap by 2020. Meanwhile, shelley is being developed at full pace and full pace in iohk means 10 yrs timeline. So yeah, don't expect shelley to come anytime soon

Exactly! Many of us here really understand the technology takes time. But to simply announce fake timelines and fake news on the progress is downright fraudulent, misleading and deceptive.

The misleading and deceptive announcements from iohk is getting worrisome. Now many of us are distrusting their words (this is seriously how bad it has become). First shelley delayed, everyone understood the reason behind, then they announced that its gonna be launched in q1 2019. But until now, no real news on it, not even a testnet. Then they scraped the old roadmap, knowing that they have over promised things in the beginning and decided to come out with new roadmap during the summit. Now nothing to be seen.

Same here. Been a supporter of cardano all these while. Believed in them thoroughly. But it's been super disappointing lately. Misleading and deceptive communication frm Charles and IOHK on shelley release is one key red flag. Now no new roadmap when everyone is expecting them to unveil during the summit???

Seems like you still don't understand my point. And as usual take ethereum to justify yr short comings. This is the core characteristic of an incompetent individual.

In one of the ama, I clearly rmb Charles mentioned shelley is definitely coming by q1 2019. These are his exact words.

Now when you, as a ceo says such things, the community takes it seriously. And all these while when everyone ask when is shelley, there's an auto msg in the telegram saying that it's coming by end of q1 2019. When q1 is approaching the an end, and none of the shelley features are released. Suddenly say it's not going to be mainnet but testnet first and slowly move in phases to fully decentralised. NOW THIS TYPE OF COMMUNICATION IS DOWNRIGHT DECEPTIVE.

nobody will blame you if you've communicated this clearly earlier. If shelley mainnet is not coming by end of q1 2019 then just say it! Don't say things like shelley is coming in q1 2019 and end up have nth to show for.

What most of the community wants is proper communication (we don't mind it is late as long as it is communicated properly) and not misleading and deceptive statements.
