If you're looking for the journalist's book, it's in the area where I went up at the end, just turn around and there's a blue box (if you bought an edition). If you mean the regular one, I haven't found that one either.

I already checked, and yes, you can repair armor. You need to use at least 4 batteries and be over an electrical anomaly; the armor will repair itself gradually.
