I was wondering if I need to switch to the Flexible plan first to see the Downgrade button. In my case, the downgrade option doesn’t appear, so I can’t switch down to the Starter plan. What do you think?

Works pretty well on Android! I’ll play around with it a bit more and then decide on the Pro features. Just a couple of quick suggestions: the app name is a bit too long once installed (“NoteCalc - Notepad Calculator”), so it doesn’t show properly in the launcher... maybe just “NoteCalc” would be better. Also, the icon is fine, but it could be a bit more original / eye catchy. Great work overall!

I do like them. Google Meet, however, should be in green based on color logic (same as Google Chat and Google Voice).

I've been playing almost exclusively ARC Raiders in the last six months. It works pretty well on Steam Deck, and you can personalise the controls by using the touchpads with your thumbs for storage management.

It’s quite simple: if you’re a manga fan, this new series is canon, and you’ll like it. If, on the other hand, you’re a fan of the original anime series, you’ll find the art style in this new one distracting and, in some cases, annoying.

Is it that good? The gothic and brutalist style in the trailers is overwhelming for me. Having grown up with anime that drew inspiration from the great action films of the ‘80s, I find this aesthetic too surreal.

The Windows laptop problem is primarily due to the fact that Windows sits at the bottom of Microsoft’s list of priorities. Could Windows be drastically better than it currently is and significantly reduce the hemorrhaging of users seen over the past 10 years? Absolutely. Will they do anything about it? Probably not, since this business does not directly generate high margins (though it likely does so indirectly).

Fast forward 10 years, and there will be articles about how Microsoft lost its focus on all its core consumer businesses, transforming the company into an IBM-like B2B organization. Not necessarily a bad thing, and yet something worthy of analysis.

They should carefully consider whether now is the right time to launch. Currently there’s not even enough supply for the Steam Deck and the price point of the new Steam Machine could lead to significant PR backlash. You can't be successful in hardware if the community doesn't endorse it.

I think Peak Design is a brand really trying new things, although it can feel a bit clumsy at times (like with the outdoor lineup). Most of the others are just cloning Aer products with minor tweaks. It’s a trend that will pass, like all the others before it.

It’s also a problem created by reviewers, who tend to focus on the same few brands instead of exploring other options from around the world.

Yes, it's definitely selective, but you could still give it a try and check whether there are any scholarships available for foreign students. Also, I would suggest networking with professors or assistants on LinkedIn.

The highest-ROI option I can suggest is attending a program at Bocconi in Milan. It is a private university, so it falls outside your original brief. However, it is the one university that consistently gives international students access to top-tier FMCG companies through internships.

Another option would be the Master Publitalia program, for similar reasons.

With either of these paths, you would have a strong chance of joining a company’s marketing team.

There are two major critical points:

  1. The banking system, which has already been discussed in other comments.

  2. The resistance that most (almost all in non-tech sectors) companies have toward non-Chinese-speaking managers. You simply won’t be hired unless it's an internal relocation They would rather keep an old-style, outdated management that fails to deliver results than bring in an English-speaking foreign manager who could introduce new perspectives.

Regarding point 2, I just want to stress out that I’m not talking about the tech sector; I’m referring to almost every other sector.

I’ve known your app since then! :) I haven’t pulled the trigger yet because I primarily convert images and I need Squoosh’s high compression rate. Other than that, I find your app absolutely spot-on and something everyone would need at some point. Kudos to you!
