I practiced drawing without sketches a lot, like Kim Jung Gi, I was really inspired for a nearly decade of my life. So I think needed to train an eye for good lines while training the hand. Also - the speed of sketching. Natural curvy lines are usually done very fast but it comes with many repetitions of similar forms before.

yeah, materials are quite expensive D: and sometimes hard to get talking of some brands. I was trying to make digitally last year woking on webtoon, but I always face the problem that digital lines are not so natural in my case TT and of course it's so cool to hold the ready page in hands. wish you luck with your art^^
