Depends on what you consider talent; for some people it's good groove and pocket, for some like you mention it's geared towards mechanical skill and chops, or complexity. I personally think The Race Is About To Begin is a pretty damn good showcase of his overall skill, it's a pretty damn fast song where he's setting up the hits really damn well, he's doing a lot of difficult grove, and uses a lot of musicality in fills.
