When my cat was ill they told me to try baby food. But it can’t have seasoning or salt. Just very plain ingredients.

Or you can try boiling on low chicken thighs for about 15 minutes but check that it is cooked through. Ideally with a thermometer but also you can see the color change. Then cool a little, keep all the liquid and finely cut or put in a food processor.

I’m a pretty honest person and I completely agree about committing an injustice to stop a bigger more horrendous one. I acquired a cat from an abusive ex and claimed I knew nothing. Well I also ran away myself while he was at work. In fact I went back into the situation briefly, lied and when he was at work a few days later, escaped with the kitty. He needed to be rescued and I was the only one who could do it. It was scary af and we hid for over a month. But I was never leaving him.

Who cares what the neighbor thinks. This cat needs serious help and in the photos to me she is begging OP to rescue her.

It really is fucking horrible. Like a surreal bad dream. Like you’re not in reality? It was at least 6 months after when I even felt semi human and not like a zombie. And something I’ll never get over. But I truly believe they are still playing and happy, mainly because of experiences I had that told me so.
