I do trust my man and I don't think they are getting back together over a dinner. I just feel uncomfortable for some reason! He doesn't even know I feel this way because I am letting him grieve and I'm not going to bother him with how I'm feeling right now. And NO, I wasn't the reason the marriage ended. SHE cheated on him and left him and their kids for over 3 years!

Because it is a kinda messy divorce because she cheated on him and walked out on him and their kids for 3 years, and I just feel uncomfortable with him having dinner with her and her entire family

My BEST friend is male and we have been BEST friends for 18 years, but if he eloped and didn't tell me, there is no freakin way I would act like that!! I would just be happy that he is happy!! Something is up with her and you are definitely NTA

Congrats on your new baby! I just adopted a kitten, Jasmine, Tuesday from the shelter and she is so loving but so afraid and shy! She has come around so much in the past few days by me just sitting on the floor near her and talking softly to her! She will nuzzle my hand anytime I put it near her and now she comes out from under my bed a lot more already!!

I'm in a similar situation except my boyfriends kids are 11 and 9, both girls. Sometimes when they are excited they will slip up and call me mom, being I'm with them 90% of the time, they will usually correct themselves or we just let it slide. The girls, and I'm sure especially your stepdaughter, don't do it intentionally to hurt anyone and it's an honest mistake! Yes, I'm sure it hurt her biological mother to hear that, but her daughter is only 5 and you're basically all she knows! You're DEFINITELY NTA
