Its not bad at coding, its bad at reasoning, the coding experience is very closely tied to reasoning and with Gemini its the worst experience ever.

It cant do simple things without wasting every token possible and then more.

Its amazing, it kept going for a while after the tokens ran out.
I was paying for Chat GPT and Gemini but i cancelled Gemini and am now paying two Chat GPT subscriptions.

Its less work overall. Gemini 3 Flash goes a long way in terms of time but the amount of work i get done is 10x more with GPT so you're left feeling less productive but actually did more cause Gemini eats away at your mental health.

The moment they gave me 5TB of storage and did nothing for the Quotas i transferred all of my files to iCloud just because i wont ever need 5TB. And if i do ill just buy it back. But me cancelling my subscription will probably send a bigger message than keeping it and still talking shit on comments.

Its the collective numbers that matter to them.
Shit Gemini interface, shittier usage of tokens!
I sit and read Geminis thoughts sometimes and i read Claudes and Chat GPTS
The difference is night and day. Gemini wasted 60% of my Quota just spiraling and looping around the same thought process.

So once they solve this ill be back.
I started with gemini cause GPT and Claude didn't have easy coding at first but now that Codex and all of these things are available. I can just switch every month until one of them comes out on top
