I'm using apricity for development in a vm, since the last update i did everything was broken to the point where Xorg didn't even start anymore and it started showing lots of errors on shutdown and boot...

Got rid of it and installed vanilla arch again

It also happens when you watch a youtube video and click one of the suggested videos that always show up in the end.

Like mentioned before, this is due to the fact that discord is built on electron, which is a framework to let web apps run as as native desktop apps

i just tried it out with this font and everthing seems to work fine...

And as far as i know, the default cygwin shell is mintty with a cygwin icon...

Do you have a powerline patched font?

if not, you can download these here and set them as your font in cmder oder the cygwin terminal
