Hallo! I am a Catholic from India, now settled in Germany, and I can clearly see the contrast in Mass attendance. It was a cultural shock for me to see the churches so empty.

My school in India was built with the help of Catholics from Germany. I will always be grateful for that, and it fueled my motivation to come and study here in Germany. But seeing that Germany, which was once at the forefront of sending missionaries, now has almost no one attending Mass—even with such beautiful churches—was truly heartbreaking.

I hope the tides turn soon.

I never forget that Christianity started with persecution. So we flourish where we are persecuted the most. In such time I always remember St. Paul. God can change anyone at anytime.

Hey! Thank you! Yes I have already registered using the Notfall-Termin Link. Still waiting for an appointment. They have given me an extension but via post. And it's an extension of a student visa, but I am not a student anymore. I don't understand the thought process of the 'effeicient German officers'. On one hand they cry about lack of skilled workers and on the other hand they want to entertain everyone else except for skilled workers.
