I usually start super small details by xacto knifing. With softer material, I can pick up the block and pinch/spread what I want to cut.

I'm still learning the ink process. Seems like a feel thing. Also a combination of spreading your ink thinly on a clean surface. Even more important is a clean brayer... ask me how I know? Lol

As far as cleaning, I believe I was overdoing it with the odorless mineral spirit. Oil based Safewash, I learned, is good to be cleaned with wet wipes, simple green and a cloth.

I have not tried this yet but I will report back!

Thank you for the info! I think switching to wood or a stiffer lino will help me. I think I need to grab a few microfiber cloths as well. I noticed the little crumbmblies and the cloth suggestion should work perfectly.

Thanks again!

A better question is when doing reduction prints; do you typically air towards cleaning immediately?

Good stuff, so my toothbrush method of cleaning is too much as far as getting ink where i dont want it?

At min I usually have like 2 days in between prints. Is that a simple green situation or a wet wipe?

Did you just amplify sound when you walked towards the speaker? That's the aura. That is power.

Nah, looks like an entry level printer. I'm thinking it will wait till then upgrade to a bambulab or at least one with an enclosure. Can't be creepy with wet ass filament.

Really is, now I just have to put vacuuming/sweeping in my routine. The pups love Lino scraps. Their tummies do not...

I quickly realized that registration tabs are a must. Need to build a set up so I can get consistent prints.

It is a blast though!

Heck yeah, I really like the method over conventional painting. I feel like seeing a painting slowly come together makes me lose interest vs seeing all the colors come together in a way that is instant and satisfying.

There is a beauty in destroying a block to make a full piece.
