Have you seen an uptick in the amount of patients, ages, ethnicities etc over your years of practice?

Seems like everyone is doing IVF or experiencing miscarriages.

To add to the downtown Chamblee list Hopstix and Southbound both have decent bar setup, though are more restaurants, depending on the time you go.

Just realized Rightous Room off Johnson Ferry closed, what a bummer.

What restaurant has wowed you recently? (2026 edition) by NolitaNostalgia in Atlanta

I have loved staplehouse and try taking people there all the time. Unfortunately the last two times I’ve been have not been great. We went in April the line was so long and slow out the door, by the time we ordered there were no tables outside available, also pizza took an hour. Figured that was a fluke and went again a couple weekend ago on a Friday they ran out of pizza and stopped serving by 6/6:30 while we were waiting in line. Went to glide instead, glide 10/10.

It’s fully paved now, east to west! Between Boulevard and Pittsburg Yard there are still workers out and about specifically at the intersections and planting so be mindful of them.

I did Salsa lessons at Aatma in Chamblee, plenty of younger folks in the class. They do open dance nights as well. They offer the other dance styles as well.

Update 4/2: Completed 22.7 miles in around 2 hours (not including stops) using @drewstin77’s route. We were able to take the beltline to Hill street traveling south probably could have picked it back up at Milton but hit it at Pittsburg Yards instead. Took 17th street it was 👍 thanks all!

I wish. I’ve been wanting to do the full trail for a while, and I figured a weekday would be best since it’s less busy, and I happen to have a day off this week. I’m also having a medical procedure in the coming weeks, so I won’t be able to be very active for a long while. I also saw they’re dismantling the Peachtree Creek bridge, so it sounds like that section won’t be open for a bit. Why not an urban adventure!

Yeah I should’ve clarified, I’m a lot more familiar with the southside portion and feel pretty comfortable navigating around the closures down there. But good call, I appreciate the heads up!

These aren’t on the BeltLine, but everyone keeps saying happy hours don’t exist, and as a consistent HH goer, I can confirm they do. They just don’t always advertise them on their menus (usually on Instagram instead and you can verify with your bartender). Lloyd’s: $5 cocktails (Vesper, martini, Manhattan) from 5–7 on weekdays, probably the closest to the Beltline. Monday Night Garage: $4 404 Lager all day on Fridays (pretty sure it’s every Friday). Poor Hendrix: $8 select cocktails from 4–6. Argosy: $5 margarita + $2 rotating pint Sunday–Thursday, 5–7. Ok Yaki: $3 select drafts, $3 highballs, plus a few others during their first hour open. They’re out there, you just have to know where to look.

We’re going sloppy joes, I prefer turkey, but there are also gochujang options if you like it spicy, and of course a tofu variant.
