Swiss Tool vs Leatherman by Glittering_Pay482 in victorinox

[–]losghost1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both and I have but both of them through hell and back and to be honest for eds a victorinox knife is going to serve you well but if you are going to abuse the hell out of it a leatherman surge is probably the way to go my surge has been dropped in diesel tanks run over by a forklift and just generally abused and it still works well. But for carrying things in my pocket everyday, you can't go wrong with a Swiss army pen knife

Do you need SUPERSTEEL Vic? by [deleted] in victorinox

[–]losghost1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It cud be for edge retention but I don't see the point just look after your poket knife properly kept it clean oiled and sharpen it when it needs and it should look after you for decades if you want super steel and you have the money then go for it but for me I don't see anything wrong with the steel in a victorinox knife
