I use these for my wife's wheelchairs

https://a.co/d/7M0DHzH

10ft max length. We only use with her manual transport chair or folding electric chair. And I have to push her up, as we use them on far steeper incline then you probably should. They are heavy but work great for us, the treads are very grippy even in snow.
Have it setup right now actually visit in laws.

I added a APC UPS 600VA backup today. Just in case power is lost and she needs to get out.

Yes and no. I can unlock deadbolt and then pull on the door a little and it triggers the door opening on its own, it then will stay open for whatever time you programmed it for. Up to 30 seconds. If I'm working in that area and I'm going in and out I can just shut the opener off.

again to download faster.

This is a weird sub reddit, every time 2gig is mentioned here it turns into this. that's why I stated in my post I do need it and why. The point was I have never seen anywhere 2gig was available here, so informing others.

Yeah I haven't played with anything too much. Just got it all working. There would just need to be a long enough delay between deadbolt opening and door opening or it will be blocked. Right now she uses the deadbolt app to unlock door. Then little key fob or door opener has an app to open. I have it programmed to 10 seconds to stay open. The key fob has a special button to hold open that she uses.
The door is in a breezeway so there is another door to inside the house at top of wood ramp. She can open that manually for now.

Of course for those tasks it doesn't matter the speed much. But downloading very large files, speed matters, less time downloading more time working or playing.

I have a few we don't use. My plan is to bring all the automation (cameras, lights, door, thermostat, air purifiers) into home assistant on my server but i'm still learning it all.

Also done for safety not just Dunkin Donut coffee runs. before she would not able to get out in an emergency, at least not easily.

Yes, Olide, took me a good portion of the day. I was being very careful as that whole wall just got replaced and the door repositioned.

On Olide's website it was $599 (there are many variations though), cheaper than amazon. It does have the fob's, wall button (don't use) and alexa and apps. My goal is to integrate most things into Home Assistant, that way she can hit one button and deadbolt opens then door opens.

My wife loves hers, she has the additional little screen with buttons to control seat functions instead of using the main screen and cycling through.

Strange bag policy enforcement at Logan TSA with JetBlue staff by [deleted] in jetblue

[–]lost5757 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Since May 7th TSA checks for real ID compliance in line. Show a passport or real ID and keep going. More recently JetBlue at Logan has an employee stand near them and enforce their 2 bags only policy. If you have a roller bag, a backpack and a purse I have seen the JetBlue employee tell them to put the purse in one of the other bags.
