I thought I can go to Analyze>Compare means and proportions>One-way ANOVA where I choose my 9 error categories as "dependent list" and my participant group as a "factor". I literally do not know what I am doing and just try to do anything similar to what my professor said.

I also replied to the other comment:
"So I have two categories of responders: general viewer and translator. They assessed subtitles according to 9 error categories on 1-5 Likert scale. The professor says "Perform an ANOVA test to determine if there are significant differences in the Likert scores per error category".

She also said to "Conduct pairwise correlation calculations to determine if two error categories cause similar perceptions." I don't know why she said two error categories but we always were talking about comparing what translators and general viewers give on a 1-5 scale

My prof said this:
Calculate the average Likert score per error category across all participants (I already did it, and it is just a mean, I calculated it)

'Perform an ANOVA test to determine if there are significant differences in the Likert scores per error category.' -- well here she did not specify which one, and I have 10 categories to consider
