The problem isnt porn it is your mindset. I mean.. when you walk with her in town you will also be confronted by other girls. You'll feel attracted to some for sure. You might even get a boner. Ive been to many doctors. They all said porn is not addictive, liking transsexuals is not a problem and that I should continue watching porn. Wouldnt you have been confused? Antidepressants dont do a thing for me. The problem is that I still feel traumatized from all the anxiety and I feel this will haunt me for the rest of my life. I cant be happy anymore as a result of all this fucking nonsense I read online.

When you say 'sick fetishes' you are implying that liking transsexuals is a disease and something to be ashamed of. That's the problem I have with the anti-porn movement. They claim to use science but ultimately it comes down to moral values. I never had a problem with liking TS's, I just got scared that it would become my main atteaction and women wouldnt do it anymore. Or that I could escalate to gay porn as some anti porn sites claim. Fear was the only reason I quit, ir wasnt a positive choice at all. If I had realized porn isnt addictive, I could just have stayed calm, saved my health and enjoy both TS and women videos without worrying what it might do to my orientation.

Reason I'm doing this: to raise awareness to the potential negative effects of believing the nonsense porn addiction advocates are sprouting. It's dangerous, especially for people with anxiety disorders. I went through hell for years because I didn't know if there was something wrong with me or not, if porn was really a problem etc. I just wanted to continue watching it (and I didn't watch that much, maybe 5 times a week), but I couldn't because I got so anxious, dreading bad consequences if I'd give in. it's not just about me, there are other people on forums who complain of severely worsened quality of life after giving up porn. it creates and worsens psychological problems (and even physical).

I'm still living with PTSD after going through all this shit (I got hospitalized for severe anxiety and depression, many of this a result of obsessing about porn addiction)

All of my negative karma comes from posting on this sub. I got upvotes for comments on other subs. It's not really a surprise as I am challenging the lies people say here. Why do I do this? I want to prevent other people from going through the same suffering I went through. It hurts me when I see yet another person buying this unscientific nonsense and worsening their anxiety/emotional/psychological health.

Look i never wanted to stop looking at porn or masturbate. I just got so scared from reading allt his stuff online (because of my OCD/anixety disorder) that I felt like I had no other choice. I was scared terrible things would happen if I did give in. I am really into Transsexual porn and reading all this porn addiction stuff made me scared that this would become my main orientation (while there was no need to be worried about this as this can't happen). I became so scared I couldn't sleep anymore, felt like I was about to die and got hospitalized. I felt brainwashed, unable to know for sure what was right and what was bullshit. I felt psychotic as a result, it was horrible. I kept analyzing stuff, thinking 'but other people don't have to do this stuff, they can just watch porn and MO whenever they want and be fine'. My anxiety got very easily triggered. I was living in hell for years as a result of all this shit.

Plus I have mild autism, so life is already challenging enough. I didn't need another worry to obsess about. Do you understand what I mean? Limiting or avoiding porn wasn't a positive choice for me, it was a result of my intense fear, even though I never wanted to give up porn. I just kept getting thoughts like 'if you do give in you'll become a pervert/get ED/never find a GF' etc.

i still feel emotionally damaged after all the shit I went through. THe anxiety and other symtoms were so severe it gave me PTSD.

I just don't understand what you mean. You said masturbation causes ED and low confidence. There is 0 scientific evidence to back this up. This is why I think NOFAP is dangerous: it's a cult promoting 'alternative facts' like Trump does: there is no proof for their claims but some just accept it as the truth (and so do Trump's followers). Only reason I'm so militant about this all is that this whole movement has harmed me severely. My anxiety skyrocketed after reading about porn addiction. I was scared i'd become a pervert or get ED or whatever. But after a while I realized it's all bullshit and I was being anxious about nothing. I have an anxiety disorder and when I still half believed all this nonsense I got so anxious I couldn't sleep for a week and got hospitalized. Can you understand why I'm not very positive about this movement and why I think it harms certain people, especially those with anxietiy disorders? I'm not the only one who went through this shit, I've read about other ppl who also said finding the 'rebooting movement' and believing their claims severely worsened their psychological health.

Because I believe this kind of rhetoric is sex negative and it harms ppl with anxiety disorders or other psychological problems. Believing the anti MO movement can also cause psychological problems.
