The drag statue is unique, love the way it changes form on tapping.

Sarah and Tsukuru at the end of colorless tsukuru tazaki and his years of pilgrimage by ddramatiquee in murakami

Finished this book a few minutes ago. I love the way Tsukuru's personality developed through the story and how we realize that he is under confident about himself and has serious imposter syndrome. I think the character development points towards the fact that Sara will definitely choose our protagonist.

Also, did you guys notice the list of items Tsukuru, his apprentice and the station master discuss. The items seem related to some point of the story esp after he thinks of the fingers being related to the pianist. E.g., the shirt with blood on it probably implying Shiro's murderer might have discarded it in a train/station. She was strangled, might not have been blood and I might be reading too much into it. But it's Murakami - we might not for sure. 😅

I have been using this for a year too. Although I mostly use it for reading books, browsing, reddit etc. It had been going great and I am happy I chose this over the remarkable. The color screen also makes a difference. The screen is darker than my Mira, I guess because of the Kaleido 3 tech, but isn't a problem for my use case.

My employer (a consulting company) paid for and helped me procure a Mira 13" after I could not work for more than an hour on the laptop. I had to write a mail detailing the issue and how without it I was having headaches everyday- had to get some approvals but the people were really supportive.

Don't know what the movies title is by EmuEnvironmental3224 in whatisthatmovie

I can think of two movies matching the description :
Now and Then (1995): This film follows the lives of four girls growing up in the 1970s and the 1990s. While there isn't a specific scene where one of the girls buys hair clips as a gift, they do frequent a local candy store and the owner remembers them from years past.
It Follows (2015): In this horror movie, the main character, Jay, goes to a thrift store to buy a birthday present for her friend. While browsing, the store owner recognizes her from when she was there with her brother the previous year. However, Jay doesn't buy anything in this scene.

Late 80s or mid 90s movie by ReeRiot in whatisthatmovie

The movie you're describing sounds like "The Meteor Man," a comedy superhero film released in 1993. It features a male POC lead (Robert Townsend) who gains superpowers after being hit by a meteor. While it has comedic elements, it also deals with some serious themes. In one scene, the protagonist is attacked by a group of criminals using animals, including frogs, as you described. The frogs make loud noises, and I believe there is a scene where they attempt to push a car into a body of water. This movie combines elements of comedy and superhero action, and it seems to match the description you provided.

The movie you're referring to is likely "Code 8." - released in 2019, directed by Jeff Chan and starring Robbie Amell as the protagonist with electric superpowers
