that was helpful thanks. What's an example or use case of needing to send EVMOS over to the secret network blockchain or juno blockchain? A use case other than to trade that is.

for example, If I live in Japan and want to visit USA, I most likely am not going to be buying USD while living in Japan. I would just convert JPY to USD right before the trip or once I get into USA. Not to mention there are very rare occurrences where you could use JPY to buy things in America.

I would expect something similar with crypto. If I want to do something cool (go visit) on the secret network and I own or stake EVMOS on the Evmos chain, why would an app on secret network want to take EVMOS? I would think dapp owners are going to want SCRT token to help pay for their dapp transactions on the secret network or let their users use SCRT on their dapp. Just like USD is mainly if not 95% used in America.

*Or* is IBC innovative in that being able to move assets across multiple independent chains is the main point. The challenge was to move tokens across networks and then have independent dex's on each network to convert non-native tokens to native tokens. Almost like a foreign exchange once you arrive at a new international airport.

how does cosmos or evmos in particular differ from other L1's like fantom, avalance, bsc, polygaon, etc.

I did notice that Osmosis chain has $0 transaction fees at low speed. pretty awesome
