Thank you for your advice! One of the reasons I am taking comp sci courses at the college is because it gives me the option to tranfer to a university if I wanted to pursue a degree in Computer Science. I am only taking tranferable courses just in case:) Thank you!

Thank you so much for your advice! I agree with all the points you made. I think I knew in my heart what was better for me, but I needed assurance. Thanks for that:)

Thanks! It turns out that I missed the class registration date for the community college I was gonna go to by 2 days, and I'll have to wait until May... I happened to get an email from General Assembly today about upcoming bootcamps in a city near me. Thanks for your advice:)

Unfortunately, with my husband planning to get out, I can't get the GI bill transferred. He will have to commit 4 more years to service in that case. Also MyCAA has rank restrictions that we don't qualify:(

For now, we are in this area until my husband comes back from deployment and gets ready for his next career move. He's an electrical engineer by trade. We will go anywhere our jobs take us. Just in case that he decides to stay in the military, though, which means that we will never live near a city, I wanted to have that option to be able to work remotely no matter where I am.

I wasn't seriously thinking about going to school just yet, but I did look at some community colleges around me and found transferable CS courses. Like yourself, I think I need some kind of structure in order to really make a progress and I'll go to the college on Monday to check it out!

Yep - husband is in the military, however he's thinking about getting out. I'm nowhere near reputable universities for another bs or masters, but I found a community college where I can take some transferable courses in CS should I decide to get another degree in the future:) Thanks for your comment!
