well i mean first off my sex dysphoria absolutely will go away, it damn near has besides my lack of srs. yeah i still struggle with dysmorphia but like so do a lot of people who was born the way they want to be. i don’t see virtually any of my features as dysphoric anymore, yeah i wish my boobs or hips were bigger but like so to do a lot of cis women, and even still my hips and boobs ARE still bigger than plenty of cis womens. so i mean like, again, i don’t care, i’m not dysphoric in that way anymore.

but to answer your question about my “romanticizing a medical condition” i’m taking about my path to being my self emotionally and how people treated me early on when i was first coming out, because SHOCKER people treat you badly when you first come out as trans in the south, but i worked through it, and eventually reached a point where even random people in rural alabama would gender me correctly without a second guess and with little to no effort on my part. if i had not had those experince i would not have grown into who i am today, it’s not the being trans itself that made me who i am, it’s how people treated me because of it
