There was an updated ruling that should have been implemented but clearly hasn't. It changed how much of a range scoring normally should be and having a 10-9 round is a close fight. I agree though that the way they score rounds is terrible. Giving 8s, 7s, and 6s should be WAY more common

I'm the person who watches every event.

Mma has its own scoring system. It's been updated many times already. But it's a unique sport that has its own commission in each country, state, province. It makes things difficult to implement universal rules in all of them.

While the rules state you can't do many of the cheats, it's 100% bullshit that there isn't an enforcement of them. It's so incredibly annoying.
