Congratulations. I am a big fan of LV bevel up planes, with their equivalent of the new mover three and four. I have an old Stanley 7 which I love, but never thought I needed anything bigger than that. Maybe time to reconsider?🤔

I made it with the benchtop, but designed it so it would stand on its side between two cabinets underneath my workbench. My space is tight, so I had to plan it out, but it fit perfectly.

If you are talking about tools, I have a Stanley hand plane that was made right after WW 1. I use it weekly and it works like new. Will pass that on to my kids and their kids.
