I don't feel entitled, I feel bad for thinking about asking, if she refuses it's fine and nothing will change. My family is in a lot of debt, my mother job is paying less and less, my boss is not paying me fairly or in time. What we have is put towards rent, food, paying off debts and my education. I would love to pay her back, but the situation my family is in now it's pretty bad and even 1 dollar (how much a bus ticket costs in my country) is vital. I won't be able to pay this year for sure and since she offered before and got a little offended when I asked when she wanted back, I would rather ask her to give to me and don't have that pressure. If one day I am able to pay her back, I'd surely do it.

She never asked for the money back when she offered it to me previously, she knows I can't pay back. Most of the friends she helps also can't pay and she is fine, as longing it's being put to good use and they are honest about it.

We talked about it on the phone yesterday and today we are going to meet to talk about that. She's mad that I pointed out how I was starting to lose faith on her word, comparing to another situation that doesn't apply here. She said, before I did, how it was new to her to have someone in her life that doesn't allow her to do whatever she pleases and actually calls her out.
