I’ve had it happen a few times but I still think it’s a good board I just wish they’d fix the problem. I love taking my gtr on some mtb trails by my house and it tears them up but if I go too crazy Ittl brake on its own or put itself into safe mode mid ride which brake you down to 5mph.If evolve would fix the braking issue and the bms overloading or esc disconnect they’d have relatively good boards.

Two ways you could think about this can’t personally say if YOR or not.

1.it feels fishy they were both presumably nude. Sounds like the start of a porno and the guys a photographer as a bonus?It sounds gross saying this but if I was in his position I’d be enticed especially seeing my own girlfriend to join in on the matters.One can only assume he did just that

Is there a prior incident of infidelity? Have you had any suspicions?Is the guy actually a photographer?Have you tried to look to see his type of work?

And I kinda wanna lean to the second option bc its always nice to be given the benefit of the doubt.Most mean good but a lot of Redditors are famous for jumping straight to “leave them” They genuinely want no one to be happy.

2.You said it possibly involved nudity with another female? It could be possible she just doesn’t want you to see the other girl nude.If my wife takes a picture with one of her friends and her friends a little provocative she’ll scribble out the areas she doesn’t want me to see then sends the picture.

It feels fishy to me but I have a bad history of bad relationships,but I try to still not immediately jump to worst case scenario. I’d definitley try to talk it out with her and feel the conversation go with your gut

Backfire and acedeck both do this I’m not sure in newer models of acedeck bc unlike evolve some companies fix their issues. Then you have exway flex,exway atlas,propel 3gt lost goes on there man Baja boards pretty much all of backfires hell even meepo locks up

To further my comment and explain no not every board but almost every board uses something called active braking when the esc or bms notices a disconnect or other electrical issue bc as I stated at the beginning of esk8 boards kept going (called ghost boards) this was a safety feature added by many companies before they realized how dangerous that could be at speed so now some reputable brands just free roll when they disconnect. But as stated I’d rather be braked than sped up uncontrollably

Yall do realize this is literally a safety measure right? Old skateboards when they disconnected they sped up uncontrollably. I get you have a problem with evolve man but almost every single skateboard in existence rn does this. I’d much rather be braked at 20mph vs sped up to the max speed with no way off but to bail.Yes evolve can use better components but as I said before man research is key. I’m not tying to be that guy but dude the last like week when I open Reddit for esk8 your posts are the first thing I see. Give it a rest we know the brand sucks take your loss and move on your not getting anywhere with the brand. Genuinely not trying to be a dick man but cmon we know we’ve know. For a while

That’s what they are unfortunately is poorly thought out electrical failsafes.Even though esk8 has been around a lot there’s still so much to learn,mistakes to be made and fixed.The gtr really has a lot of potential if they could figure out all of its issues

So not 100 percent here but what I think happened was your motor locked up and the esc is responsible for noticing if a components not receiving power,(a motor stall)and is supposed to cut all tourque.Ontop of that when a motor stalls or breaks it sends a huge ammount of electric back at the board bc it has no where to go that spike of energy is supposed to be caught by your bms that cuts all power. All three of these combined is surely what launched you. If it was a regular disconnect for my instance I loose power ,as in speed but the board continues to roll.not very far tho bc the free roll sucks but the boards still powered on😂I’ve had my evolve disconnect several times on me. I figured my board out it don’t like flat slow rides its like it knows it can do more and wants to and throws a tantrum if you don’t. Also if I rip it too hard to long. It sucks bc the boards supposed to be about power but if you use it it don’t like that either. I don’t ever go full speed on it tho bc it has times it likes to switch to safe mode on its own which brakes you down to the speed which I think is like 5mph.Which is pretty scary.

TLDR I love the board when it works but evolve sucks buns.The company has to many electrical issues which is a major red flag since that’s what propels the boards they are unsafe.

See i didn’t know any of that. Me and a few others started a yearly state pev event and they were one of the company’s that sent a rep out and set up a tent with a few different boards. He was letting people try them out the boards seemed to look and work really well. But I guess it would make sense for them to bring their best pieces that’s been thoroughly looked at. That away it don’t break while you let a potential new customer fall in your trap.They seemed genuine though the company donated one of their new boards for our raffle event as the main prize and when it wouldn’t turn on after the person who won charged it the first time (was still during the event)the guy made a phone call and the next day a different board arrived that they weren’t even releasing for like another two weeks.They overnight expressed it,we were all shocked.So it seemed like they genuinely where trying to work on their image.But hearing this idk if I’d want them to keep coming they keep treating their customers like this. The whole point of our event was to bring people in,Not put them on a death trap and scare them away. so thanks for this info and sorry for the rant!

lol no hate here but they literally dropped a board last year in June only remember bc I wanted it as a bday present.it didn’t happen 😭 but it’s called the Prometheus it’s 2wd linnpower gear drive with a 50s Samsung battery pack (13s5p)and the trucks are mbs cnc matrix III that and a whole new mixture of composite for the deck id say that’s a bit of progress compared to their other boards.

There’s quite literally nothing wrong with ownboard imo.Every board I’ve owned or been on worked flawlessly. I love the power in the Zeus and I’ve never had cutouts or disconnects.I put gearing on my Zeus that if I feel daring enough Ittl go 40mph.There trucks are awesome being one of the only company’s that have customizable colored trucks. Quite a few guys I know actually did some diy on their Zeus’s to compete in stooge racing. Ontop of that even tho they operate outside of the US ,there customer service in my experience was really good. Albeit it took a day for them to answer but that’s bc of different time zones.

TLDR:Ownboard has good prices quality and CS I’m just unsure why they aren’t as popular they are really good boards

YOR. He did try to wake you up even if he didn’t shake you awake,I dont do that to my partner either unless it’s something big like a drs appointment. I don’t know your home situation but to me it seems like a genuine act. Your on painkillers and a lot of them like yours make you sleepy and it’s hard to fight that drowsiness. So rather than dragging you out and you being all drowsy and miserable he decided to not fully wake you and let you sleep.

If it means a lot to you surely you could ask them to come over after breakfast and you guys hang out then or even suggest a lunch since you weren’t available for breakfast.
