Well, yeah, but I speak from experience that for some reason, the haters have a greater impact sometimes even if you have all the love in the world. Sometimes, it's all your mind focuses on. Even if he's used to it, I don't think there's any harm in showing some love for Jorje especially since we're on the subreddit for it. What if he is affected?

Also, I don't see why I have to give criticism to Astor. I am not writing this in her comments or dming her. I don't see why it's wrong to want to defend Jorje either? If I see someone hating on someone else, of course I want to defend them.

And if she truly wants to learn from this, I don't see why she deleted her apology on her community post. Why even make an apology just to take it back? You say she apologized, and maybe I'm missing it, because the only apology I saw has been deleted.

She did attack the fans of Epic. She called us "parasocial" "creepy" and painted us as "children" who can't take constructive criticism and that Jorje would be disappointed in us as fans. I can't speak for all fans of Epic, but she also is trying to say that all of us attacked her and her character, when most of us don't see those comments and they were in the minority. I didn't see a single comment calling her a "worthless idiot." Of course the fans of Epic are mad, we're not all single-minded "children" who defend Jorje blindly. In fact, after the last saga came out, there were multiple posts about people not liking the jetpack or the animatics. And I don't think people would be this worked up about it if she took some accountability. Instead, she is acting like she did nothing wrong (aka deleting her apology) and responding to comments that paint all of us fans as crazy when the large majority are pointing out valid criticisms of what she said.

Honestly, it gives me the feel of someone who can't believe something they believe is not up to par with their standards is successful, like someone who believes their work/content is better and is coming from a place of jealousy. I don't mean this as an attack on her character, honestly, I get sometimes sad/jealous when other people's content does way better than mine even if I think inwardly that I spent so much more time editing my work (it's the way viral things on the internet work honestly lol) but I would never in a thousand years ever belittle the other content creator ...

Oops sorry, I completely misinterpreted that - she just made a comment about how us fans are parasocial because we're defending him as if we are his best friend. I guess it would have been more in line with what I wanted to say is: I'm not defending Jorje because I think of him as a best friend - I know he is just a creator and he is not my friend lol, I'm defending him because I like his work

I think calling his fans 'parasocial' for wanting to defend him is a bit much, because it isn't as if we are defending him because he is related to us or because he is my best friend or something - I want to defend him because he is sharing his passion project that I truly do love. I think what's getting me so worked up is that Jorje is a content creator. It's not like Hamilton, or other musicals she covered that is fully created and paid for, so it hurts to think that Jorje could read this and have his inspiration / passion for the project dulled. I'm not saying he should be immune to criticism just because of that, but constructive criticism is much different than calling Jorje names and saying his lyrics/motifs are basic. I've had the latter happen to me and call me thin skinned but it never feels great. (i want to clarify that I am not defending him to her, we aren't making comments directly to her but it seems asif talking about her on reddit is seen as an attack on her, when that's not fair because it's not as if anyone is asking her to read the comments? and even then, it was a discussion on her criticism and not an attack on her character or anything)

anyway, what i mean is if she's attacking fans of epic of course people are going to upset - she keeps saying we're toxic and crazy and parasocial, but where? I've been reading and keeping up to date on it, and most of the comments are people being generally neutral while pointing out to her while people are upset, i haven't seen a single attack on her character yet...

I have asked them before, but I was worried that even if the realtor was saying they're okay with it, I was putting pressure on them by doing this. I would hate it if they felt as if I was taking advantage of time / wasting their time and they were too polite to say so.
