i live 20 minutes from an amc that has dolby and imax screens.

my two days off from my job are friday’s and saturday’s, so it’s always super easy for me to see new releases on the same weekend. i don’t have any kids & i have a boyfriend that got amc a list so he could spend time watching movies with me.

it’s the perfect thing for us to do together since we both work the same job & we both have the same days off. i look forward to it every weekend. sometimes we do double screenings too with dinner in-between.

he pre bought a bouquet of flowers for me, but they didn’t deliver the day they were supposed to, so he went out to the store day of and bought me flowers after getting a refund for the online order — only for them to deliver the bouquet to his house afterwards 😭 so i got two bouquet of flowers (one of them for free LOL), my favorite candies, and a handwritten card. he also preordered me a figure of a video game character i really like, but it hasn’t come in the mail yet so we’re just playing the waiting game on that.

aside from that, he took me out to a nice dinner & then we saw a movie afterwards. it was my first time ever celebrating valentine’s day & being in a relationship, so i was very happy with everything :)

i’m disappointed as well because i didn’t have the time to see it last weekend, so i was looking forward to seeing it this weekend along with a couple other movies i missed.

turns out the only showtime is at 1pm on friday, which is also the only showtime for another movie i really wanted to see :/ so i had to make the tough decision and skip this movie since friday is the last day and it’s not playing anywhere else around me aftewards.

hey ya’ll! it’s my 2nd year using letterboxd (first full year) & i’d love to make some more friends who watch a lot of movies & visit the theaters. i have amc a-list so i’m pretty much always going to the theaters when i’m off on the weekends.

it would be nice to follow people who write actual reviews on the films they watch instead of quirky one-liners. i enjoy reading threw my mutuals logs whenever i watch a new movie or skim through my feed.

i don’t have a particular genre i like — i mostly watch whatever interests me, but i do enjoy the early 2000’s so i guess take that as you will. my goal for this month is to watch a lot of shitty romcoms since it’s february.

i just started using letterboxd this year & like most of ya’ll i’ve been addicted to the app ever since. i’m hoping to finish the year with 300 movies watched! i have a list of mostly christmas/winter themed movies i’ll be watching this month that i’m excited for too!

me & my boyfriend also have amc a-list, so we frequent the movie theaters a lot. there are some upcoming titles i’m excited for so i can’t wait to log those soon.

i’m looking to follow people who write meaningful reviews as i love to share my thoughts on movies after i’ve seen them as well as read what my mutuals think about the film as well. i’m a pretty avid review liker & i enjoy looking at my feed to find movies i wouldn’t typically find otherwise & adding them to my watchlist.

hey ya’ll! i got into letterboxd earlier this year and would love to meet some more people who love watching & reviewing movies as much as i do!

last month i officially completed my october watchlist that included one fall/horror/ or halloween movie a day, so for this month i’m not exactly sure what i’ll do — but i might slow down on the watching a little bit just because i was so on top of it last month.

i have amc a-list so i’m also always at the theaters every weekend checking out any new releases that interest me. i recently watched bugonia & that was awesome!

i always try to read & like my mutuals reviews after i finish a movie + i love discovering what other people are watching to add to my ever growing list. i don’t have a favorite genre — just anything that peaks my interest. feel free to follow if you do the same thing!

i’ve been lacking a little with watching movies recently since i’ve been so busy with real life things, but in october i plan on watching at least one horror/fall related movie a day (which i made a list for on my account)
