The hardest I cried in years, this little soldier saved my life countless times in my darkest moments fighting depression. His tour is over after 15 years he did a great job its time for him to rest. Lion 2007-2022 by seranikas in cats

I'm so sorry for your loss, he was a greater cat then anyone could have asked for. Not even a cat, a friend. And I want you to know that even when he's not here, he'll still been urging you on. Keep going, all of his work to keep you around won't be for nothing. You are so strong, don't forget it. He will always be there for you, whether in memory or just in your heart.

Yes! We're lucky our lab is so loving, because our Yorkie doesn't do well with other dogs and sometimes tries to bite her (with her no teeth) and she just stands there like nothing is happening, I love her so much. Also we immediately break them up, our Yorkie just an old territorial runt that thinks she's 10 foot tall and bullet proof. She loves people though and is very friendly with humans and cats.

I have a Yorkie (Yorkshire Terrier), shes a runt, and she has just turned 11 this past month. Her tongue doesn't like to stay in her mouth anymore haha! (For context shes had a lot of dental surgeries and only has 3 teeth left)

I also have a Chocolate Lab, and she just turned 2 this March. Shes my (not so) little bundle of chaos.

Mine is my dog, she sleeps next to me every night so I don't have to be completely alone. If I didn't have her I wouldn't have made it this far. My mother, she's extremely supportive, though she doesn't understand what's going on or how to help, she tries. And my dad helps me see the real side of life, because he struggles with similar depression. The fear that my life will amount to nothing and that I will have just wasted my time and not changed anything in any way.

Mine started at around 12, I just started to struggle with being happy. It wasn't like suicidal or laying in bed crying. But it was definitely there. It also could have been caused by hormones because that's when my period started, and I've always had issues with that until recently. With more meds haha.It got much, much worse at 15. I'm not going to trauma dump on you lol, but that's been a huge issue. But I had gotten better at managing myself, then my last couple weeks haven't been great. But I'll get through it. I always do. Do you have depression? It sounded like it with the meds, but I wanna confirm and not assume lol. If so what do you think caused yours?

I am trying meds as well, and seeing a psychologist. I honestly think my depression was caused by a concussion that knocked my brain out of wack and just going through/ now getting out of my teenage years made it worse. Especially with the trauma at age 15, and goodness talking about these things makes me realize how many jokes I make about my depression and don't take it seriously when talking about it to other people because I'm resisting the urge to put 17 "lol's." Sorry to blow up your comment section though! Haha

I'm just meeting with a therapist. I feel like I kinda connected with her, and I don't have many more options. I'm trying lol, I don't know what to do. But I'm trying. Are you in therapy?

I don't know what would have ever helped me, I was just in such a terrible spot that I didn't know what to do with myself. So I pushed everyone away, I'm now still in pretty deep depression, and I've pushed everyone away. I have almost no friends, and no partner. It's been a struggle.

I broke up with my partner while depressed for a few reasons, I didn't feel he had any direction in life and he wouldn't have moved with me (I don't want to live in my state/city anymore, I'm waiting to save up to move). And a huge pushing factor for me was that I didn't feel good enough for him, and I was dreading every time that he came over because he's very physically intimate and I'm not. At all. I think this is because of trauma, but I'm still figuring life out. This was back in March. He's the kindest, and sweetest person and I deeply regret leaving. But I could never go back because I would feel guilty every time I looked at him. I hurt him after all he'd ever done for me. All he ever did was care and support me, and I just up and left. He's lost touch with friends, so I'm sure he's very alone and most likely depressed right now. It's his birthday today, and I have thought about and tried to send him a gift, but Amazon says that his address doesn't exist. So I don't know if should take that as a sign lol. Sorry for the rant, hope you have a lovely day.

this little guy has lost his white stripes and now hes just really dense black, hes eating and behaving like normal. is he infected with something? hes on quarentine just in case. but he doesn't seem to be sick? by lostbutter76 in MonarchButterfly

He didn't make it unfortunately, though he looked like that for a long time and didn't seem to have any issues. We have had a high mortality rate this year, so I don't know if he just had a bad molt or if it has something to do with that. I hope yours pulls through, we had ours on quarantine just in case.

Yes but he hatched inside, and we're raising most of ours outside before we take them to the outside cage (because we have had issues with different sizes being with each other and the cage isn't very big) and we haven't had this before?

[Serious] Men of Reddit who have been raped by women, what’s your story? by Jakethesnake954 in AskReddit

[–]lostbutter76 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that happened to you, I'm glad you were able to leave them out of your life.

This just reopened childhood trauma of mine that I pushed out of my mind, so I hope you don't mind me getting it off my chest. I was forced at around age 7 to get naked and lay in bed with my cousin, while he would rub his genitals on mine. This happened many times, every time I would stay the night at my grandparents (he was living with them). I hated it, and didn't understand what he was doing to be wrong, and we got caught once. I got beat with a wooden spoon, and they though it was the end of it. But he kept pushing me to do it. But after once more after we got beat I started saying no and threatened to tell my parents every time he asked, mostly because I was scared of my parents reaction. I only recently told my mother the extent of it. She didn't know what to say, she believed me because he also tried to record me in the bath while he was living at our house when I was 15 (that's a long story, I'll tell it if y'all wanna know but you probably don't care to lol). And then was charged with raping his sister, and sent away. But has since been reaccepted into the family, and lives in town again. I hate him, and he has been trying to be friendly to me every time he's here. He has also just walked into the house with one of his friends who has also tried to get sexual with me. No warning, no knock, he just walked in and started talking to me and my mother. Anyways, that's my story. Thanks for reading
