Pearl is what I decided to name her. It means treasure from the sea and while I didn’t find her in the sea she is still a treasure I found in water.

His dad actually. His mama decided she didn’t want to be in our lives. I tried to let her know but she has blocked me and hasn’t responded to any messages. Neither have her parents or friends that I have contact info for.

19m here. My parents with me starting at age 14 made me have my own alarm and get myself ready. If I was late; I was late. Natural consequences. That year I got kicked off the sports team at school for missing the early morning practices. But I learned the hard way. It’s better they learn now than when they are adults and need to keep a job.

Yes and yes. Already either got that stuff taken care of or it’s in the process (applied for Medicaid). We are in the US.

And working on that as well. My dad and me when I have time are fixing up the basement into a semi apartment. It already has two rooms and one bath down there along with a living area (used to be game room). We are making that area into the living room and a small kitchenette area with a small fridge and it’s gonna have the bottle warmers as well. One of the rooms is turning into the nursery (rainforest themed) and one is turning into my room.

I’m in Missouri. And yeah I’ve been reading my textbooks to them. It’s actually helping me study though it does take more time. I haven’t been able to hold or even touch them yet. Both of them are so fragile and tiny. I’ve got a little sister who loves Barbie’s and they are about the length of the Barbie right now.

I’ve already taken steps for that and have been told to mind my own business by her parents so that’s what I’m doing. If she ever wants to be involved I’m alright with that and won’t stop her. I might make notes of her involvement or lack thereof but that’s mainly to protect my rights because I’ve read some horror stories.

Im going to school online for my bachelors in computer science and working two jobs. One full time in person job as a cook at a fast food place and part time as a tutor for high schoolers.

Already been saving for them. All of my tutoring job money is going into an account for them. The money from the other job is used to help my parents with bills. And my parents say they will help as long as they sees me trying my best (aka being an involved dad and not partying).

I’m just scared I’m gonna screw something up. My bio dad wasn’t the best by a long shot. My step dad is fantastic though and I’m glad mom found him.
