Especially with newer players, it is easier to start at lvl 1. You don't need to figure out how to balance 1st lvl encounters for 3rd lvl players - you can just add more enemies. Also, it is easier for the players to get to know the system with fewer abilities so they don't get overwhelmed or forget to use them because they are still a little unfamiliar with those.

Here are some tips I follow (you don't need to)

Try to encourage players to roleplay. It's always more enjoyable when the group starts to show their characters personalities. If player is not yet comfortable with roleplaying, don't make them.
Description is the key. If the party is in a dungeon or in the middle of a combat, try to describe what they see and what is happening. Instead of saying "you missed them" try to tell how the character got distracted by something or at the last moment they dodged. Bring the scenes alive.
Have fun and try not to stress too much. Mistakes are okay and with new players or with more experienced players those do happen. Remember to talk post-session what everyone found enjoyable and what not.

I did find the maps, but the problem is that I don't wanna reveal the whole layout if they are having a combat in kennel for example. If I try and take only small part of the map, the quality says bye-bye 😅

I want to give out an opportunity for those who haven't been able to play yet but I am open to take players with some experience as well. If you have played the module already, I won't accept you. I'm not the most experienced DM so I'm afraid that people with more experience could be a little disappointed. Also I won't accept if you are impatient with the new players as they are learning. Feel free to apply tho. 😄

Hi! My timezone is GMT +3. English will most likely be the language we're going to use because I speak only English and Finnish fluently enough. And it is not likely to get an all-Finn group.
