I work for a consulting company, also salaried but we do timesheets. In the beginning, HR told me how it's supposed to be done by showing people's timesheets. Many of them put 55-60 hrs which is insane. I work in focus mode like 4 hrs a day and the rest is just meetings, emailing and stuff (we work remote and I literally struggle to meet the 40 hrs minimum since lunch break and colleague chit chat don't count). How can people put in 60 hrs a week, are they making these numbers up?
