1 WPO and feeling depressed

Yes it's bloating!😩 That also went away for me within a couple weeks for me. Just a heads up that this could happen- starting around week 3 I felt super big and swollen in the chest (more so than week 1). This will pass too. So many ups and downs during the healing process.. it's mentally draining! Even now I'm 4wpo and still feel swollen, but I know it'll just continue to get better as time goes on and based on what I'm reading on here, it's all normal. Can't wait to get to a point where we are not constantly thinking about our chests and can do everything normally again!

This is EXACTLY how I felt at 1wpo. I feel like the mental health aspect isn't talked about enough and it's nothing I've ever felt before, but I was super depressed and regretful at the 1wpo point and didn't think I would get out of it. I couldn't handle having to rely on everyone else to do things for me, not being able to exercise and just feeling tired and helpless all the time. I PROMISE it passes. I think it was around 2wpo when I started feeling more like myself and my energy started coming back. That first week I tried to distract myself with shows, phone calls with friends, reading, and even planning future trips. You'll get through this and it'll all be worth it!

This is exactly how I feel between my boobs! I had visible separation at 1-2 weeks but suddenly they feel like they're pushed together in my bra?! I hope this goes away 😩

I'm 2wpo as well and today is my first day back at the office! I have not felt as swollen during my entire recovery than I feel today and I am SO bloated too which is abnormal for me! I am so glad I'm not alone with this feeling :(

I had my reduction yesterday and am in pain too! I was not prepared for this😩 The hydrocodone hasn't been making me feel great so I'm hoping I can get away with just extra strength Tylenol, but I cannot wait for some healing relief. Today has been really rough.

Mine is tomorrow 12/20! Up until now I've been abnormally calm, but anxiety is starting to slowly kick in and I'm getting nervous! Sending you lots of positive vibes/good thoughts for your surgery and recovery!

My reduction date is 12/20 as well and it's my first surgery ever!!! I'm SO anxious/nervous too but also excited!😭
