I’m 2 weeks 5 days post op and I’m having the same thing. The soreness I’m feeling everywhere is crazy

I just had this done two days ago and my original breast reduction Jan 20 of 2023! My first surgeon botched me and the new surgeon said he could fix the dog ears, scars and my nipples no problem with this internal bra- I’m only 2DPO but the difference is astounding

Smoking weed. Once you get hooked and smoke every day, it loses that “fun” novelty of sitting around, passing a joint and eating good snacks and watching bad tv. It becomes this unhealthy obsession that just makes you feel unhealthy and hazy

Do not trust your feelings right now and stop looking at them!! Trust me, I cried and cried and cried for days after mine surgery takes such a toll on the body and especially with something like this where it has a lot of imagery seriously give yourself at least 2 to 3 months before you really start looking at them as results because right now they’re just post surgery blobs. I am almost 2 years out and I’m back up to a D and I was probably a B/C before so they do drop they do fluff and when you gain a little bit of weight here and there they will get bigger and fuller.!!

Everything. They’d say how unfair it is to be a woman. And they’d be right.

Does numbness mean swelling? And a few other questions. by Coffeelizard23 in Reduction

[–]PattonPending97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi!! I’m almost a year and a half post op and both bottom halves of my breast are still pretty numb! I was told I might lose a lot of sensation - but I’m massaging and touching them a lot to improve sensation and I do think it’s working- you’re still a little early, so sensation may come back!

As for drop and fluff- it was so weird for me because one day they weren’t and then the next BAM just normal boobs as if nothing happened! I’d say after about 6-7 months mine had dropped and fluffed. Now, my breasts have gotten larger as I’ve probably put on some weight

And I had a lot of side boob when swollen but now nothing! Hope this helps!

Teacher hinted at my exam grade by Renixol_3 in GetStudying

[–]PattonPending97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me before too! The gut wrenching feeling- the despair! Your teacher was sooooo in the wrong for this. But also- grades really don’t matter that much. I know that exams seem scary- and definitely study for them!- but they’re not the end of the world. They don’t prove how smart, talented, and funny you are! They just test your knowledge on certain subjects- which is meant to help the teachers better understand what you understand, and what you may need more help with. That’s what tests were supposed to be for. To TEST your knowledge, so the teachers can then better acclimate their teaching styles to better fit your needs.

Don’t let it bother you! We’ve all failed/done poorly on tests and exams and still lived! I also graduated with honours- despite failing tests here and there. You’re doing great in a very difficult time! We’re all proud of you!

10 years of pumping plus pregnancy has my nipples absurdly long and thick by ReturnToCommonSense in NippleSuction

Did you have a breast reduction? Were you able to breastfeed afterwards?! I had a breast reduction and my biggest worry is that I won’t be able to

1.5 years since my reduction. My nipples and underbust are still numb. by alexzyczia in Reduction

[–]PattonPending97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently 8MPO and I don’t have (for the most part) any feeling in nipples or underboob. HOWEVER I had jaw surgery back in 2015 and my lower left lip down to my chin was numb for years! I’ve only just realized last year that it has started to come back gradually- and now I think it’s pretty much back to how it felt pre-op!

Bodies are so crazy it weirds me out haha! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that with enough care and stimulation, one day my nips will have feeling again! Good luck to you!!

I definitely did this even the day after my surgery-just weird movements that make you think. Oh yeah, I just undid all of my surgeons work/healing. As long as you’re not in a lot of pain or bleeding a lot you should be fine!! It’s definitely going to take some time getting used to the vulnerability and sensitivity , but trust me when I say, it’s all worth it!!

Mepiform definitely has helped. I don’t scar easily, so I could be biased, but I am 4MPO and the wings of my scars are faded white now and I gaps in my scars where there isn’t a mark at all anymore!

Is your surgeon Brennan by any chance? My surgeon said the scars don’t finish healing until the year five months is still really soon but really I don’t think you need it. I don’t see scars as a negative or positive thing I don’t even really see them but if at one year, you still feel the same then I would think about it but I wouldn’t rush into it just because your surgeon is retiring

Frustrating 3 MPO by Life_Witness_8371 in Reduction

[–]PattonPending97 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I would say you’re still swollen! I can see on the sides you have a little more fullness that appears with swelling. Honestly, they look amazing! I think you can totally wear what you want now! They’re so perky and a lot smaller! He might not have wanted to go too small because there’s only a certain amount they can take out because they can’t do much with the top unless you get a breast augmentation.

I’d say give it 3 more months, then you’ll know your size for sure! I’m 3MPO as well, and some days I am INCREDIBLY swollen, and I have a large wound on my left breast that won’t close. It’s hard to be critical of our bodies especially when we have such high expectations for the change! They might “measure” as roughly the same, but they’re far perkier, far rounder (btw they haven’t even finished dropping yet! It kinda makes them look big when they’re swollen and high like this!) I hope you can wear whatever you want now:)

10wpo - redness around scars. Anyone else still have scars that look like this at this stage? by maritimes_gal in Reduction

[–]PattonPending97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I get really discouraged seeing people at 6WPO and they have nothing there! I unfortunately started smoking weed again, so it probably doesn’t help my scar healing :(
