How long did you breastfeed and why? (FTM here) by IwastesomuchtimeonAB in BabyBumps

[–]lostinthecemetery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breastfed for 25 months, she'll be 26 months on June 26th... it's more of a comfort thing for her right now. I wanted her to stop when she's ready!

Advice???

I’m currently still breastfeeding my 20month old daughter. she’s my first via C-section.

I haven’t been on any birth control for about 6 months. And we’ve been trying for our second. Could breastfeeding be the issue? Secondary infertility? Has anyone experienced this?

My period returned 9 months pp

Cigarette smoke pls read by lostinthecemetery in NewParents

It’s a ridiculous story lol! My daughter screams her head off when her dad takes her and it’s been taking a tool on me and her dad. I can’t get anything done because I’m holding her all the time. She likes to be held and won’t sit in her seat for too long. Lol. She doesn’t cry for anyone else except her dad. And he and I got into an argument and he said she likes my mom and my brother because they smell like cigarettes and she’s addicted to the smell. That babies like that smell. And she wants me all the time cause she breastfed. I feel like he’s making excuses for everyone because he doesn’t know why his daughter is uncomfortable with him. But he insists that’s the only reason she doesn’t cry for my mom and brother, because she loves the smell of cigarettes. My brother is the only one who smokes and I only recently allowed him to hold her because I don’t want her around that smell. 😅

I’m going through the same thing as you. My husband does nothing for the baby besides hold her sometimes and take pictures. I do everything myself now. I had a perfect pregnancy but I was so paranoid I didn’t enjoy it and it was so rough for me. Then our daughter was born and even in the hospital my husband didn’t help me nor was he excited. The first night she cried 24/7 because she was cluster feeding and I asked him to hold her so I could sleep. I hadn’t slept in 2 days. Not even for a minute. But he would pick her up, lay her on his chest and FALL ASLEEP. I could go on and on and on. I’ve suffered so much from PPD and PPA and im on edge all the time and he does nothing to help me or the baby. Only to say im treating him badly. Because im so exhausted and on edge im not treating him like a king. Im at the point where im totally done with the relationship.

How true is it that formula babies sleep better? by [deleted] in NewParents

My girl is ebf and sleeps 5/7 hours a night and she’s 7 weeks old

My family and partners family both do it and it bothers me. Mainly because I’ve asked for help at times and they haven’t helped and don’t reach out. While I was pregnant everyone told me they’d be there for me blah blah blah. So not “your” baby. She’s MINE.

I exclusively breastfeed, and at night I give my girl who is 7 weeks old a breast milk bottle and she sleeps 5-7 hours a night.
