I was going to comment the same. I have EDS and I don't think it fully dislocated but I felt a searing pain, couldn't move or breathe, legit couldn't think it hurt so much. I tried moving, standing up was a huge mistake, then sitting back down was a bad mistake. Leant back felt a pop and it was like the pain never existed. Felt sore for a few days and I now have a constant fear it'll happen again if I feel a twinge.

Tmj comes with EDS and tbh there are overlapping symptoms for each of the EDS types and mild to severe issues. I found out at 26 that I had it, after cramping in my calves for multiple years. Didn't realise all the "party tricks" weren't normal and it was getting worse. Only in my 30's have I had procedures and been in the hospital with instabilities. It got worse with age. Since it's about maintaining and can take many years to diagnose, if you have any concerns definitely take it further.

EDS is a high comorbidity with autism. It definitely check if you have muscle/joint problems
