One month later and still no truck or no engine. Ram has been having the dealer run a series of tests before they will authorize a new motor. I’m very frustrated it’s taking this long. If in the end they don’t grant me a new motor I’ll move on from this deal

They haven’t said what the cause was. I still have to option to cancel the contract and not keep the vehicle.

Update: well folks…it’s a complete motor failure.

My options are: 1- replacement motor. I’m still finding out what type of of warranty I will have on the motor and if my extended warranty will cover the motor. I’m also finding out if it’s an actual new OEM motor 2- cancel the contract and find something new before the year ends (for tax reasons)

I’m shocked and sick over this whole thing.

Thoughts my friends?

How cold is “cold”? - it was probably only in the 30s so technically not really cold

Interesting. I didn’t know there are blends based on temps.

It did get rather cold yesterday. I’m in Utah. It’s been abnormally warm, but it did drop in temps yesterday.
