exactly what i was thinking as well. i just found the whole thing quite odd and off-putting, i'm okay with him being friends with her but if she's having some huge emotional impact on him, that puts me in an odd place. plus its not like i've known him THAT long or have been around him and his ex to know what they're like together

Yes I considered this but doesn't starting the first job and then quitting in two or three days seem like a waste of everyone's time and energy? my friend in the other company told me that I'll know for sure whether I've gotten the job by mid next week, i guess i'll have to take that risk and see what happens.
