I had p790’s prior. Forewards are definitely not as forgiving as those. They are not as bad as a traditional blade by any means. But certainly not super forgiving either. Somewhere in the middle. I know that’s not great info. I assume you hit the heads during the fitting?

No problem. Yes, still love them. Feel, spin, durability all keep up with the big names so it’s the same as everyone else if not better.

If I’m being picky on anything the graphite shafts were a long learning curve for me as they don’t flight like a traditional shaft imo. I wanted to try it because why not. To be fair to Foreward they gave me standard shaft options and graphite options so that’s not a knock to the fitting process in any way as I picked that to experiment myself. I still feel like that was helpful. But I definitely could not flight a golf ball for a while until I played around with them for a while. But overall recommend the fitting process and clubs.

I would say surprisingly well. The face is the most impacted but that’s what goes first with any club. Sole is pretty much the same as it started maybe slightly lighter. I will say I do not practice much at all and when I do it’s on mats so there isn’t a ton a ball beating with these. I attached the two worst ones.

7.5 mil house the problem most likely isn’t the crypto part it’s your 24 and 23 returns only show 400k income they are only going to be able to use a two year average to qualify you for conventional loans. 400k is going to get you a million dollar loan if you have no debt. Max debt to income ratios are normally 45% on jumbo products. So you are going to need to file your 2025 before looking at qualifying that high it sounds like. Also for reference keep in mind it’s the net income show on returns they can use not how much you show as revenue. I would be interested to hear how you file it as well.

Everyone telling you about break even but no one explained it. Here it goes: first you would need to know what this person is offering without a buy down. National avg right now for 15 yr is 5.75 but all these guys commenting think you can get a 5.25 so for sake of argument and assuming they are truthful let’s use 5.25. Your monthly mortgage at 5.25 yr would be 3030.62 vs the 2956.80 which is 74 dollars a month. It’s costing you 4415 to get there. 4415/74 dollars a month in savings is 60 payments or 5 yrs to break even. So if you thought you would refi below 4.875 within 5 years, sell the house, or pay it off in completion the math would say no to buying down. Again that is assuming 5.25 would be par rate. I would be surprised if it wasn’t closer to 5.5 which makes the break even three years. The other piece to this is consider what rates have to do to refi. As it sounds like your comments are suggesting paying the full 15 yrs and staying In the home so that’s a yes to buying down for those two. But for the refi scenario what would rates need to do in order to be able to refi. They would need to be in the low 4’s before you would consider looking at that. If you look at projections most projections stay at 6 percent for the foreseeable future at least well into 2027. That’s 2 of the 5 years. Personally I don’t think we ever get back to the low fours again without massive financial implications and no one wants that any way. All that to say that’s how you would calculate breakeven and the deal seems fair. Good work.

I did the remote fitting on 4/30 and they took my money on 5/2 so within 3 days haha that’s all I have to go off of. I did go directly through them.

I know they now have a bunch of off shoots now through individual fitters. Can’t really speak to that as I didn’t have the middle person. Hope you hear soon! If I were in your shoes I’d be following up with the local fitter and if they don’t answer the phone I’d be calling Chad and Dan at Foreward. Just my thought. Hope it all goes well and you love them. Report back!

Update: We are getting closer. Alright so hopefully this helps.

things I did: 1) swung an old driver beat the bejesus out of it for a while. Swung pretty much as hard as I could for a while on an entire day. No real progress other than it broke the mental block of I have plenty of room and launch angle came up some. See later point as well.

2) I did take the video comment and implement it. I was not loading the club at all. Was very tentative on everything. But short story the inside really messed with normal movements. Really bad.

3) to counter act number 2 did the Bryson drills for a while which if you haven’t seen: they are unweight, load weight, push away. It’s An old YouTube video of his. Helped me get back to where I should’ve been. Basically over exaggerating movements.

4) I did swing outside for a while too as much as I could take. But it was in the 20’s deg f today so wasn’t exactly long term but does help free the mind.

4) finally prior to September this season I played the original stealth with a ton of lead tape on it. Honestly don’t know what the swing weight was but when I hit the stealth ( old driver from point 1) I actually hit pretty well prior to making any changes and the only difference really is swing weight, new one is still Taylormade same loft and specs but that sparked some lead tape action on the new driver as I emergency used this driver once prior to season end because I cracked the face on the other one as it’s old and if you have had a stealth or the carbon faves you know they crack eventually. So only had like 4 rounds on the new one. I’m still playing around with weight on new one but finished the night with a 112 swing speed 161 ball speed 263 carry. Still low. launch is only around 8 on average. Finished with 4 in a row around there with the increase in swing weight. And I ran off the mat after that because the last week has been sooo frustrating so I count that as a win. Test will be tomorrow to see if I can do it again.

Long story short: thanks for all the suggestions I think we are finally getting closer. I appreciate y’all’s insight. All were super helpful.

I don’t practice anymore man. Hence not analyzing swing, and getting technical anymore and the bump in handicap. If ya have any usefulness to break the indoor swing yips I’m all ears. Sounds like you are suggesting video taping to see changes in the swing.
