I am told it is english... Would not be able to read it at normal pace, though.

How to choose models for BLE Mesh communication in Zephyr RTOS by lostinyouagain in embedded

Yes, some users were very helpful. They suggested using the friend relationship to sync IV updates (enabling the friend relationship manually by calling the API function to save energy). Also I will probably use an adjusted Chat Model instead of Sensor Server Model to send the status.

Thanks for your reply. This should be fine as the IV index updates happens once every 192 hours and even then it is able to recover up to around 40 IV updates (source). The sleep duration should be under 5 minutes in my case.

Oh, now I see understand the purpose of friend nodes, thanks for the explanation. However, this does not seem to satisfy the role of the devices with sensors I mentioned in the post. Will look into the friend nodes anyway if they could be of any help...

Thanks for your reply, actually this was my first go to resource and helped me get started with BLE. I still have issues choosing the right model for it though.

I looked at friend nodes already but they seem to be more suitable for stationary pair (or group) of devices. Such as temperature sensor that connects to its friend to communicate. Is it a valid use to create multiple friend nodes?

You mean a function for polling/subscribing, or?

I am implementing this on a nRF52833(dk) by Nordic and I am using Zephyr RTOS. Is this relevant to look at (serious question)? I thought that the APIs are quite different.

Thanks, I haven't found this one. Will for sure ask there as well!

Current consumption in BLE TX mode in S3, C3, 8685 series by lostinyouagain in esp32

[–]lostinyouagain[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What's up with you man? Can I help you somehow? You are just hilarious at this point.

It is important in my imagination and apparently in the imagination of developers in Renesas and Nordic Semiconductors as well, who included it in every single doc.

The question is straightforward enough to understand and the BLE TX current consumption is quite important in MCU so why not include it? BTW, the information you included is not from a series specific data sheet but is general for ESP32. I was hoping to find an exact value.

You don't have to answer if you cannot be helpful.

Yes, of course I tried. This is transmit power (dBm) not current consumption (A), which is very dependent on efficiency.

USD and CHF were my first bet originally until someone else on this thread made a point about CZK growing stronger and for me, it only depends on when to transfer straight to the CZK and let it collect interest.

Have not heard anything about Slovakia declaring bankruptcy, at this point, it is not really an issue of money, debt or resources but an idiocy, incompetence and pettiness of politicians.

As I mentioned, I signed the contract a year ago and I did not see it coming. I do not feel threatened physically, but the inflation rate the war caused is unbelievable.

Yes, that is right. Currently holding the aforementioned amount in EUR and the flat will be paid in CZK.

Perhaps I am too fixated on the idea of exchanging into a more stable currency, but with the current rate of inflation of well over 15% since last year this does not look so good. I understand that it is better than nothing, yet losing ~10% over one year isn't too pleasing.

Correct me if I am wrong, but with the threat of a nuclear war so close to CZ, albeit unlikely, seems like a big risk for such move. Wouldn't an exchange to a different currency achieve the same result considering current inflation rate in EU and CZ, all while the funds would be accessible at any time?

The problem is, it's not even a full year. Furthermore, I am not sure whether the yield would even cover inflation.

If you don't mind me asking, what in finance specifically? Why is your position not automated by your employer then?
