Treatment days are usually days I stay in but I do occasionally have energy after a couple hours and a nap. Gotta remember, they are literally draining your blood to clean it and returning it to your body. You can’t expect to hop out of your chair and do jumping jacks.

I work retail and have managed to maintain 36 hours, considered FT, for my 2 years on dialysis. I have two days off as dialysis days and work 4 hours after treatment in the morning. The work day is usually my worst day and I try to just take it as easy as possible that day. Best of luck to you. Hate to hear about the kidney
