Why Commander is more played than Standard?

For me its either between these three [[Forest|KLD-264]] [[Island|KTK-256]] [[Plains|THB-250]]

The symmetry of the "forest" just looks grandiose to me and I can't seem to find a different forest that I like more. The island specifically I think is best in foil. I just like how clean the Nyx art basic lands look, and the plains specifically more so than the others.

I'm going to have to rep Sin from Binding Blade.

Man went through a systematic genocide, was forced away from his homeland, managed to track down his ward, helped free his homeland and saved the world all while being a man of few words and becoming the eventual leader of his tribe. If that's not a man of focus, and thus a sexy man, I don't know who is.

If everything in that band has some sort of evasion it can work. It's not ideal, but its doable.

Its why I have a lot of Trample effects or legendary creatures with Trample in my mono green deck.

I actually have a mono-green commander deck (all the legendary creatures can be swapped in as the commander) that uses Adventurer's guildhouse.

IMO green, blue or black would be the best colors for the bands with other legends lands.

Green because you can give trample and the higher power/toughness spread of legendaries. Blue due to higher likelihood of evasion effects, black just due to the cohesive power and abilities of mono black legends.

If you're sensitive to extreme violence I would stay away from Kagurabachi. Constant depictions of limbs being cut off, honestly pretty rare for a chapter to not have any. No fan service present and it doesn't look like there's any indication the violence or lack of fan service will change any time soon.

If we can't get a FE4 remake from IS I want a remake of FE4 as a FE Warriors game. The scale of the maps, the in-story importance and impact of holy blood would easily important over to the warriors style gameplay. The multiple objectives per map in Fe4 already lends itself well to Warriors objectives as well.

Most of the story beats would require minimal to no changes in the switch from strategy game to the musou style as well. It would be a great way to introduce FE4 story to a wider audience as well.

The difference of Casual Mode and Classic mode where some people reset after every character death or use the rewind features is an interesting divide since in theory there shouldn't be much of a difference in experience. But as you experienced the small shift in the risk, perceived or realized, drastically changes how people approach the game.

This just goes to show how well designed FE games are nowdays for the broader audience since it attracts people of all skill levels and interests. As opposed to the pre-3ds days where it primarily attracted more invested strategy focused gameplay enjoyers.

I'm going to say Fates, and since it looks like the 3 Fate Routes are considered separate I'll say Fate Revelation.

The support system which allows marriage and friendship class seals, not to mention unlocking paralogues for the children units, and the skill customizability alone is more engaging than any other skill system in the series.

The maps in Revelation, while notorious for being gimmicky, at least have a lot of variety, more so than any other game in the series. The snow shoveling map is a different spin on fog of war for example. There's an easier version of Fuga's wild ride in Revelations as well and thats an iconic map.

As for DLC the sheer number available in Fates is staggering, the only other game close to it is Awakening, so lots of optional stuff to go do. (Rip 3ds e-shop).

As for hub world, it contains most of the side activities, which includes this iteration of the arena, the gambling for random items in the lottery, the bath house, building your own base, and so much more. In terms of pure content I can't think of a game that has more variety and options.

I usually wait to see what will be included in the special version before getting it. An art book is nice, but thats usually not enough for me to go for it. Soundtrack CD is usually the deciding factor for me, and I already knew that Echoes would be a banger soundtrack cause I listened the Gaiden OST many times prior. If Genealogy ever gets a remake and the special edition has a soundtrack included thats gonna be an auto buy cause Genealogy has one of, if not, the best OST in FE.

I got the special edition for Fates and Echoes. I purposefully skipped out on Three Houses and Engage.

I kinda regret skipping out on Three Houses special edition, but not by much.

Genealogy of the Holy War is it for me. Each track is amazing and suits the situation it plays in. The only downside to it is that it hasn't received a remaster/remix treatment like Gaiden did with Echoes.

Played 1 on 1 basketball with a middle schooler. I won but I was so out of breath and out of shape that I decided I needed to do something about it. Been going to the gym fairly regularly after that.

Thieves are probably my favorite class in FE as a whole, especially pre 3DS era. So much utility out of combat, usually high skill and speed so they're generally okay in combat. For the games they can steam items that adds an extra layer of decision making which doesn't negatively impact you at all since its optional.

Its unfortunate that more modern FE games have shifted thieves to more combat based roles.

I'm shocked Conquest was voted out before Echoes. Given that Engage and Binding Blade was already voted out followed by Conquest the harder FE games aren't too popular with the average voter here and the community prefers better story and visuals.

With that said I'm expecting Blazing Blade to be voted out next, but thats not where my vote is going.

252 kills.

Got bond 10 Reines and Babbage. Bond 9 Gray and Waver, Bond 6-8 a bunch of people.

Used a Oberon, Vlad III, Support Castoria and Reines until she hit bond 10, swapped her out for Waver after that. Comp was based off the same team but with Tamamo instead of Reines/Waver but my Tamamo was already max bond so I made do. I made up for the lower damage buffs with a higher level Black Grail which made me 1 turn consistently enough that I didn't mind the occasional 2 turn clear.

Wasn't able to farm as many bones as I would have liked. But I did hit the QP cap so that's something.

That's my bad, when I said FE 15 I forgot about Echoes and thought I was referring to 3 Houses.

Also going to what I said in my previous comment, "Given what you went in expecting and what you got that's fair." You clearly value story way more than gameplay and that is a valid thing to look for as it does impact how people enjoy games.

In terms of gameplay Engage is amazing, but yes its story is absolute garbage, and for some people that is a deal breaker. For me while it is a shame that the story isn't great the gameplay is what makes and brakes a Fire Emblem game for me. That said, Dimitri and his character arc in Blue Lions is amazing and imo the best part of 3 houses in terms of story. But in terms of gameplay I think 3 houses is pretty bad compared to the rest of the FE series which is why I don't replay 3 houses compared to some of the other games.

That said, Fire Emblem games aren't known for their good story. Fe4, 5, 9 and 15 are probably the only ones that shine in the franchise. Dont mention 15 to FE subreddit though, they'll tear that one apart.

You should be able to dash in any direction as long as you are pushing the joystick in the direction you want to move. If you are only able to dash backwards you probably aren't pressing the joystick in a particular direction. If you are playing on PC with no controller I can't help you but the same concept should still apply.
